The following table presents empirically-derived gold density corrections for Gold-Silver and Gold-Copper alloys. A measurement of a gold alloy coating made with 24k pure standards may be corrected by multiplying it by the correction factor shown for the alloy and karat.

This information should be used for estimation only as we have not confirmed these results. This data may be used for beta backscatter measurements. Please contact us with your results.
